PROJECT: FinFish Community Meetings

The Ministry of Environment (MOE) is reviewing the Finfish Aquaculture Waste Control Regulation (FAWCR) with the goal of amending the regulation. The process for revision of the regulation included consultation with affected stakeholders and the general public.

We Connect Project Management was hired to facilitate six community stakeholder meetings.

The purpose of the meetings were to:

• Clearly define the parameters of the current regulation and the scope of the Finfish Aquaculture Waste Control Regulation, and
• Engage with stakeholders early on in the amendment process and to solicit their input on the proposed changes to FAWCR.
