Guests were welcomed with a red carpet entrance to a beautifully transformed historical Fernie General Store on main street. Fernie's finest restaurants came together to offer their very best selections of wine and complementing food. Decked out in an elegant yet rustic decor that sets the mood for romance and tasty delights. Proceeds went to support two very important local charities - Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life and the Ghostrider Kids Camp.

Guests experienced an evening of true elegance with their loving partner and friends that share the love of wine and fine foods. A presentaation on Wine Tasting 101 was hosted by from the Fernie Wine Club. Friends came together to taste wines from local restaurants. Representatives were on hand to explain the wine, guide guests through the taste and showcase their expertise and restaurant offers. Music was offered by a local DJ for guests to enjoy as they meander to different vendors tasting wine and delicious food. Guests were not shy, they sipped and mingled and even headed to the dance floor with their valentine.
