Fernie is home to incredibly talented artists, and what better way to remember your special wedding day, than a portrait by local artist Joceyln Thomas.

Artist Jocelyn Thomas will provide original portraiture of the wedding couple to be used as a portrait in a frame, or as an image for invitations and thank you's. The original image is yours to enjoy for many years.

Jocelyn completed two degrees in the History of Art and Archaeology before pursuing post-MA studies in the States, where she spent many years. She illustrated books, served as national arts resource person for 330 Councils of the Girl Scouts of the USA, worked in galleries, taught creative thinking through art teaching at New York museums and cultural institutions. After a stint in creative kids TV, she returned to Canada. She taught portraiture, created content for educational multimedia, and now works full-time as a museum-quality portraitist. Jocelyn can also execute large-scale documentary portrait murals, complete with captions, (being, also, a professional writer.) Professionally, Jocelyn's motto is to always exceed customer expectations, and that the sky is the limit with what you can conceive in terms of heirloom wedding portraiture.

Fees: The portraits price will range from $275 to $500, depending on complexity. A meeting between Client and Artist will determine price.
