Sandra & Carl August 2011

Sandra and Carl did it up big - private lake, helicopter ride to the ceremony, amazing photography by 6:8 Photography, and cocktails hosted in their private vineyard! Rentals were all brought in and made for challenging but fun setup for the We Connect staff. Sandra had a clear vision for her decor, with a gardens feel and tonnes of fresh flowers. All the flower arrangements were put together by We Connect Wedding Planning. Sandra had collected a mix of mason jars of all sizes and heights.

If the helicopter arrival to the ceremony wasn't exciting enough, Carl's parents took the John Deere tractor (with the bucket full of drinks for cocktail hour) for a little drive from the vineyard to the reception location. Guests will not soon forget the excitement and special evening hosted by Sandra and Carl.

The open tents and twinkle lights created a romantic atmosphere, and the dance floor was never quiet. The catering staff did an incredible job of keeping it together with the challenges of loosing the power to the stoves, then water ... the challenges of hosting a wedding off grid. Inspit of all that, they turned out the most delicious roast beef and salmon dinner.
